on 11 to 12 September 2017, RCBE FTUI held a workshop on processing technology and utilization of propolis. This activity was held in collaboration with RCBE, the Indonesian Bee Association , and the 3Bee community. as guest speaker in this activity, Prof. Shigenori Kumazawa from the University of Shizuoka, Japan.
This activity began on Monday morning local time by visiting the Indonesian University Forest to see Trigona beekeeping and learn about it. then held propolis processing training with Dr. Eng Muhammad Sahlan. On Tuesday morning, the workshop continued with a presentation by Prof. Shigenori Kumazawa with the theme the potencies of Indonesian prorpolis based on chemical profiling and a presentation from Dr. Eng Muhamad Sahlan about the latest research on propolis in Indonesia.
